I liked it a great deal. Anything dealing with the pylons was cool; the one that would control the weather, or the one that seemed to regulate the entire Land (I seem to remember them fooling with stuff inside one and wondering what was happening, while outside you see the smaller moon zip across the sky, or stop). They figured out the crystals could create heat, light, or explode.
One of my favorite episodes was where they meet Enik, the 'smart' sleestak, who thinks he's in the primitive past only to discover that this is his people's distant future and instead of being a super civilization they're all cave-dwelling primitives.
The alien that crashlands was cool. I think that unlike any other kids show of the time this was one where the other creatures that would appear might not be friends or enemies, but have their own agendas.
The episode with Uncle Jack was cool if only to illustrate that they were truly trapped and that nothing could leave unless something else entered.
