S'mon, I normally get reaper minis at my local gaming store for $2.50-2.99 (US) for the standard ones. $3.50 seems a bit steep, but I suppose since you're in the UK, that's the reason
. EM4 minis sell here for $20.00 a box (I think), that's $4.00 each. Personally, I don't consider that a good deal, since I think the ones I've seen have been awfully painted. I suspect that's a simple matter of taste though. Personally, I'd rather have an unpainted mini that I can paint well, then a painted one that looks shoddy.
Now, other then odd deals from SVgames (whom I do not recommend), minis for $2.00 dollars or less are unheard of. Reaper is by far the cheapest. Citadel minis sell for around $9-12, for a single individual mini. A huge rip-off in my opinion. In my view, Citadel minis tend to be overly cartoony (especially their huge disney-esque hands and features on non-humans); but I must admit they are very well cast. Anyway, sounds like it's a tariff/shipping issue overall.
