Yeah, but you wouldn't have the 1dX of the physical arrow like you would with flaming/shocking/etc. And would your version do strength damage if it was a Mighty bow?

I realize that, but my reply had nothing to do with that.

Absolutely, but it would be force damage, since its coming from the arrow. A +1 shocking arrow fired from a +1 force mighty longbow [+2] would deal 1d8 (arrow) + 1 (enhancement bonus) + 2 (strength from mighty aspect) points of force damage, +1d6 points of electricity damage. The enhancement bonus (which doesn't stack between the bow and arrow) increases the base damage of the arrow. The mighty aspect of the longbow also increases the base damage of the arrow. The shocking does not increase the base damage of the arrow.
