Harrison gets Jillians attention and waves for her to go first, then follows her.

Ballista turns slowly toward the door with the sound coming from behind it. The fingers of her arrow hand twitch lightly at her side, as the silent flame of her glove flickers in an illusory breeze. Her eyes slide over the edges of the door with practiced intent from behind her low-hanging, blue-black bangs. Even though she takes no immediate action, the tension in her muscles almost gives off an audible hum.

Logan watches Ballista with quiet admiration. "Milady, I certainly am glad that you're on OUR side," he whispers. He is uncertain whether she can even hear him, but he feels better just saying it.

Jillian nods. Then she heads back down the hall to the double doors. Once she is sure that everyone is in position, she pushes the left door with her left hand to see what is beyond. She holds her everburning torch before her in her right hand as she peers into the unknown beyond.

The upraised torch illuminates and empty 30' long 10' wide hallway. On the north side of the hallway at the end another set of double doors waits.

Seeing the new hallway, Jillian goes back into search mode and heads down the hallway thoroughly searching it for traps and such.

Jillian eases through the open door being extra careful and hypersensitive to any threat. She notices that something in the air doesn't smell quite right and she feels strangely lightheaded. Glancing back she notices her companions swaying on their feet as well. From around the corner ahead and rumbling sound returns...
