*grin*
"Shhh. Zorn, you might wake up the dead."

suddenly he gets the thought of "what did I jsut say" and retrieves his bow and arrow and stands redie, after having taken another sip from his flask and stowed it away.

Ballista cringes as the squeaky shout echoes through the halls. "Well if the earthquake room didn't let every monster in the place know we were here, then that sure did."

Logan Lightbringer

"Ahhh, it matters not, in my estimation -- all of the creatures we are likely to find in this tomb are probably of the undead variety, anyway, so they are doubtless programmed to attack intruders on sight, regardless," says Logan with a wink to Zorn.

Logan Lightbringer

"Ahem! Umm, yeah, right you are, Zorn!" Logan tries his best to project a degree of supreme confidence that he in no way feels.

Jillian returns to the concealed trap door and, after checking it over once more to be sure, opens it. She then returns to the group for her report. "There was a concealed trap door right there which is now open. The stairs lead to a dead-end. The double doors are a bit odd. I believe the hinges allow them to swing either way. I found no sign of traps anywhere in the hallway."

Jillian gets the trap door in the floor open easily. There is a narrow winding stair leading down and slightly west. At the bottom perhaps 25' down is a narrow crawlway leading north. Those of you in armor will find it a very tight fit.

As you are looking down into the hole a rumble you can feel as well as hear comes from beyond the double door to the east. It sounds like something heavy is being moved. It seems to be moving away. After a couple of seconds the sound stops.
