Forked Thread: Scotley's Tomb of Horrors 3.5 Continued

Logan Lightbringer, Cleric9, AC28,FF27T17,HP76-10+3DR=69/76, DR3/-, F+9,R+4,W+11.

The magic bubble is crowded as Ballista, Logan, and Harrison surround Grackle. With all the big-folk around, he scurries over to one side of the bubble, letting Harrison and Leif stay in the comparatively-flat bottom/floor of the bubble. It's some 9 feet in diameter, so nobody has to crouch, but Grackle sits along one side, letting the Admiral go. The weasel scampers up Harrison for a moment, sniffs, then hops over to Logan's shoulder instead.
"Don'cha like the bubble? It's nice an' cozy an' safe. I likes the bubble. I wish I could roll 'round in it, but it don't move." the gnome mumbles. It wasn't so noticeable before, but up close, in the bubble with Grackle........he smells. There's a nice, earthy smell of dirt and grass and flowers. And there's sweat-stink. You're not sure Grackle ever washes his socks. Or anything else. He even smells a bit of blood and ichor from monsters he's fought, or the corpses he's crawled over while adventuring with Jill and Ballista recently.

But mostly, it's just the smell of soil and unwashed socks.
"....Ya wanna play a game?" Grackle asks.
"Oh, for Cripe's sake!" Logan presses his nose into the Admiral's coat, thinking 'it's no bed of roses, but it sure beats the alternative.'

I can attempt to dispell the magic on the chests but it will be difficult. It is pretty powerful. It may be beyond my ability to negate it. Zorn mentions to the group.

Garagos, AC 29 (T19, FF27), HP 98/107, DR 3/-, F +11,R+6,W+10

"Hey, I like your bubble. And the 'odor' reminds me on the day three of us (dwarves) hold that tnnel against those watery plague zombies... good days." Garagos says to the others in the bubble.

(ooc: My bad. Made some naming errors in that post. Fixed now. Thankfully, it means Harrison isn't adding the smell of soiled pants to Grackle's potpourri!)
OOC: precisely. that would have too much to bear for those in the bubble. I think i am torturing everyone else too much as it is.Now if some wizard would use prstidigitation on him that problem would be alluviated.

Jillian tries to open the trap door and look inside.

The secret trap door opens easily. Below is a shaft leading down 20' or so to more little tunnels like the ones behind the circles in the long hallway. It seems to have nothing to do with the chests or the room you are in. One leads south and the other east then north.

"Well I think the first thing is to open the chests. If we don't have a magic solution, then we need to turn to a mechanical one, like a rope to yank open the lids from the safety of the bubble?"
