Garagos, AC 29 (T19, FF27), HP 107/107, DR 3/-, F +11,R+6,W+10

Harrison scratches his beard stubble covered face in curiosity, " only half a key? couldn't you have found the whole key?" he asks with a light hearted grin.

Fascinating! It seems logical to believe the 2nd half is in the other vat. Did we not see a use for such a key in our exploration? Zorn remarks.

"Would like doing it better? Without yar fancy stick?" Garagos asks grinning back to Harrison and points at the other vat.

Logan Lightbringer, Cleric9, AC28,FF27T17,HP75/76, DR3/-, F+9,R+4,W+11

Logan stands mutely and favors Harrison with his patented "feces-munching grin."

Garagos, AC 29 (T19, FF27), HP 107/107, DR 3/-, F +11,R+6,W+10

"Gat somthin'?" Garagos asks. He looks at the gnome. "Let mah try somethin' hope his magic works!" He puts cautiously a finger in it, teting if the gnomes magic is enough to protect him (and his equipment). If yes, he will 'fish' with his hand.

Harrison swirls around with the half eaten stick and if he finds something he goes to remembering how Garagos did his search:
Test first, then stick the hand in and search

Grackle gets bored and wanders off while all the talk and slow checking of smelly vats goes on...... He doesn't have any particular destination, he's just forgotten where they're going and wonders what else is around. He looks around for any crunchy or juicy bugs to munch on, or shinies to adore.

Logan Lightbringer, Cleric9, AC28,FF27T17,HP75/76, DR3/-, F+9,R+4,W+11

Logan joins Grackle. He's quite fond of the grubby little Gnome. :D

Grackle wanders back out of the wizard's workroom in pursuit of a large beetle and Logan follows the Gnome. As Harrison leans over to probe the final vat with his now considerable shorter staff, he finds this liquid much thicker than the others. Suddenly the liquid wells up into a pseudopod that grabs the fighter by the shoulders and drags him into the vat. The liquid is some sort of living thing.

[sblock=Harrison]Limbs go numb as the ooze begins to engulf the warrior. DC20 Fort save or be paralyzed for 3d6 rounds. The creature's acidic skin does not harm Harrison thanks to his magical protection. [/sblock]

OOC: Initiative and actions if you beat a 5.
