FRPG Background Help

I'm about to play a LFR game this weekend and want to play a Dwarf Warden from the Icewind Dale area (complete with the Winter's Herald power), but notice that there doesn't seem to be any backgrounds reflecting this (or any northern area). I want to play the warden as being from a nomadic tribe or barbarians (how he got mixed up with them is being worked on with another PC). Anyways, if anyone can come up with a suggestion of background from the FRPG that can help me out I'd appreciate it.

Akanul background might be appropriate to represent the resilience to the elements of nature your character gained in his homeland.

Luruar is the closest area to where you wish to be from.

I suppose that area is the closest, but the benefit doesn't seem to fit with my PC. Re-rolling history checks and learning an additional language really won't fit well with a nomadic tribe.

How about Narfell? I'm playing a ranger character from that wintry region.

Does LFR permit the new system of background construction? If so just pick a region and build the benefits yourself.

No it does not. It only allows the Backgrounds within the FRPG
