Background:

Imrehsa was born at the temple where she was trained. At least, that is what her masters would like her to believe. The truth she would find out later and this would preempt her decision to leave. She was prophecied to have psionic potential by the leaders of the temple and instead of asking her parents, she was taken away just after she was born. For several years, these masters developed her ability to peer into the minds of others as well to hide herself from peering eyes. When she was finally of age, she was told the truth of the matter. She was being developed into a weapon against the original temple that spawned this corrupt version. On her first mission, she professed this to the head of the true temple, who took her in and protected her. Incensed by this action, the corrupt temple provided information to the local military forces implicating Imrehsa's new home as the source of numerous crimes that were actually being performed by their own operatives. This military destroyed the temple by sword and flame and Imrehsa barely escaped with her life. She now wanders in search of another temple to continue her training and eventually procure vengeance on the corrupt temple.

Appearance and Personality:

Imrehsa is used to fending for herself and her attitude shows it. Though not adverse to accepting help when needed, when given the opportunity to do something by herself, she usually takes it. This attitude shows in her clothing, everything kept practical and clean enough. Her long black hair is kept in ponytails almost always and for the most part, she keeps her nose and mouth covered in black cloth. Her only striking feature is the color of her eyes. They are mostly a brown color, but around the pupils is a star shaped color of blue, with a green ring around the iris. This is one way the temple had identified her as someone different. She is not ugly by any means, but she is not strikingly beautiful either. The rest of her clothes, a mix of reds and browns, serve to keep her comfortable and warm.

Personality:
Arathar is a typical aloof elf, until the arrows start flying. He tends to be quiet, ever eyeing up a situation and an environment. He tends to be leery of other races, but once a person has proven themselves loyal, he will stand by them to the bitter end. Arathar has his own code of honor, which he feels will carry him through any situation.

Appearance:
Arathar is a plain-looking elf compared to some of his more beautiful brethren. While his blue eyes can be striking, they tend to be a bit shifty as he constantly measures up the various people he meets. He wears a grey hooded robe, with his spiked chain dangling from one side of his belt and his shortbow and quiver slung over his back.

History:
Arathar was trained by his elven brethren to be a fighter, learning from some of the most capable archers in the elven lands. However, when he was first given a spiked chain, Arathar's skills really came alive. He showed a knack unheard of amongst his brethren. Seeking to hone his abilities, Arathar made his way out into the world. His goal is to practice his various fighting styles while learning of the world outside the elven kingdom and to eventually return to his people as a great warrior and trainer.

Rikandur Azebol: I like Padraig, but I do feel that two purple-eyed arcane casters would be a bit redundant. Perhaps you'd care to submit a character that fits better in terms of party balance? Or, Tailspinner, if you'd care to instead, I would then accept Padraig as the party's arcane caster. A divine caster of some sort from one of you would be outstanding.

DarkMaster: Valeria is under consideration, but I do want to give Harvey a chance to submit his rogue as well, before I decide.

shadowbloodmoon: Imrehsa is accepted! I like the character, and view her as the fifth PC, taking on the 'wild card' slot.

ferrix: I be thinking you are correct! Let's see what you've got in mind.

Hi Watermark, looks like we just missed each other's posts... decided to go with a rogueish type fighter after seeing DarkMaster's rogue (in the interest of a more even party :) ). See above.

Cerrig ap Endur

1/2 Orc, 1/2 Flan/Oeridian/Suel mixture
Barbarian 1
Gods worshipped: Beory, Moradin, Fharlanghn

Lots of background on how this half-orc ended up being raised by the dwarf that killed his father. Very short story: Orc chief in the Dreadwood in Keoland took human woman as a prisoner and impregnated her, dwarven hero slays Orc Chief, human woman goes into labor, dwarven heroine acts as midwife, human woman doesn't want to have any responsibility for 1/2 orc child, she gives the child to dwarven hero and heroine to raise.

Lots of misadventures as child grows up. Lots of neat background stuff.

Cerrig looks mostly human, except when he rages, then he looks mostly orc. Cerrig only speaks in Orcish when raging and never speaks in Orcish when not raging.

Cerrig is still growing up in many ways, and often acts like a Bull in a China Shop.

Thank You DM, for consideration. But to be honest, Warlocks aren't as versatile in the ways of magic as our typical wizards. Wizards ... well, even if they couldn't fight all day, they can and usually do beat Warlocks in myriad of other dimensions. I creted him, and modified a bit, to fit as backup caster/ last chance negotiator type. Bit more diplomatic than sorcerer, and likely more limited in the magical field. Belive me DM, warlocks are only good as sort of backup casters. They are more roguish than average wizards, but lack wizard's VERSATILE plenthora of spells. :uhoh: :o

I simply thought that trying this class would be neat, but party would fare better with ordinary wizard. I think. Healing capabilities for Padraig I would devolp only after 6 lvl, when apporiate feats I would give him. As well as small way against undead ! Chmmm ... You say Dm that we need a healer/divine caster ? CHmmm ... ok, I could give one last shot for samurai like paladin from far avay lands. But story would be even more difficult to write than for my little witcher, echem, warlock. But I will keep him purple eyed and black haired. ;)

What would You say DM ?

It is very late now and I didn't have time to finish the particulars of the character (ie. History, full purchases of equipment, etc) but I wanted to submit my character concept for the group and hope that there is a spot left for me. I'd love to run through this series of adventures as I've never played any of them before. Anyway, here's what I have so far and will be happy to add much more should you consider me... if things are already full... then good luck on the adventure :D

Okay, here's an update on where we stand.

The following players are accepted:

Tailspinner as Galstadt Trustryke, Human Conjurer
Harvey as Arathar Riverwalker, Elf Fighter
DarkMaster as Valeria Van Bron, Human Rogue
shadowbloodmoon as Imrehsa, Human Psion

To the others:

Ferrix: As you can see, things have developed to where we don't need a fighter so much as a divine caster to round out the party. I want to give you first dibs on filling that role. If you're interested, please submit a character to fill that slot. I'd be interested in a demi-human race (for variety's sake), but that's my preference, not a requirement. Please reply, yea or nay.

Rikandur Azebol: Thanks for your interest, but I just think that your vision and mine don't quite match up. I wish you the best in finding a game.

Endur: As stated, I'm not looking for a barbarian right now, for reasons of party balance. I'm going to put you down as an alternate.

Vendetta: Your cleric is fine, but as stated above, I want to give Ferrix first crack at the final slot, because he responded first. If he decides to bow out, I'll take Lyne'Kylae. If he gets in, I'll put you down as an alternate.

Ferrix may I suggest a melee type divine caster. From the four that were accepted only one is actually effective in hand to hand combat. Valeria being one of the worse ;)
