First we'll hear about 4.5 a year before they BEGIN to produce it. They'll give us information like "you know how Power/feat X didn't quite work, well, we fixed that" and not actually give us any other information.

Some posts of random playtests will soon hit the forum boards with even less 4.5 information, and it'll look like somthing that could have been done in 4th with just the tinyest fraction of orriginality on the DMs part.

We'll soon see preview to 4.5 books, that are chalk full of storys on why they changed things and neat little pictures, but no actual preview at all of said 4.5 edition.
4.5 will then be pushed back about 6 months because somthing "went wrong" with the new design/

Kevin Siembieda will laugh like a hyena as he converts all of Palladium to 3.5 standards with a bit of 4th options and powers mixed in, making not only a better RPG, but millions of dollars in the process.

Wizards will Drop D&D entirely, making way for more Star Wars and D20 modern editions

Absolutely untrue. The 4.5 PHB1 will still contain eight races: Gnomes and seven flavors of elves.

Player Characters will no longer go through the tedious creation process to be written down on a paper character sheet. Instead PCs will be pre-generated with a plastic mini and a Tamagotchi-like device that will contain all the relevant information. In order to make sure that players always have something to do, they will have to maintain their Tamagotchi PCs to keep them at full HP.

WotC has not yet decided whether the PCs will be sold in random sets or if players will be able to select a specific PC.
