Sure. Cake tastes great. Tends to lose its luster after a day or two though.
Couldn't have said my views on 5E any better.

I haven’t watched any of the actual play parts. Is that one worth it?Man, those hole jokes in the OD&D video. Woof.
Only one I’ve watched but yeah it’s fine. Love the trivia stuff thrown in during play.I haven’t watched any of the actual play parts. Is that one worth it?
I never played OD&D but the first episode reminds me that the most vital piece of adventuring equipment back in the day was definitely the 10' pole. That was still true in AD&D.Man, those hole jokes in the OD&D video. Woof.
My group used a 10' pole to great effect in our Sunless Citadel game in 5e. It eventually broke haha.I never played OD&D but the first episode reminds me that most vital piece of adventuring equipment was definitely the 10' pole. That was still true in AD&D.
Plus the disposable hirelings.
Yes. The 0E video is the only one I've watched as well, and I enjoyed the whole thing. There was a some slightly hammy punning and joking and the occasional digression, but I found that very true to some groups and players I've known. Jon always got them back on task pretty quickly when folks started to wander afield with anecdotes, puns or trivia, but there was enough for interest instead of play being too dry.I haven’t watched any of the actual play parts. Is that one worth it?
