I haven’t watched any of the actual play parts. Is that one worth it?
Yes. The 0E video is the only one I've watched as well, and I enjoyed the whole thing. There was a some slightly hammy punning and joking and the occasional digression, but I found that very true to some groups and players I've known. Jon always got them back on task pretty quickly when folks started to wander afield with anecdotes, puns or trivia, but there was enough for interest instead of play being too dry.

I started the 4E one this morning and just from the participant introductions I can ALREADY see the problem you and @TiQuinn were describing. I suspect I'm going to be infuriated at the non-designers taking up all the air and time talking about themselves and Peter not getting it back on track and focused on the actual edition that's the subject of the video.

I didn't find the 4e one as bad as I was expecting from this thread tbh. Yeah, there was a bit of the non-designers being centre-stage at the start but I felt that it evened out as the discussion went on and the designers got to share some real interesting and very frank insights overall.

Actually, it's that frankness that has made these so interesting as a series. I wholly appreciate the celebratory nature of the series but hearing the designers explain where they would have done things differently or where they felt there were mis-steps has been really illuminating and made for a very rich experience. I'm hoping the 5e video is equally balanced in its approach.
