[roll0]

[roll] tags do the trick.
Edit: But you can't edit and add additional rolls. They apparently need to all be in the post when you first post it.

I couldn't remember if the rolls tags went around the dice, or the like the 'sblock', included it as an element. Anyway, sorted.

Really enjoying the game. The simplicity of it is refreshing. And its is almost as if the lack of mechanics opens up the space for interaction.

I don't know if the dabbing of the holy water counts as a use. I am happy to say it does, but would it be possible for that "use" to extend for the for the duration of the adventure so he can do with same for any more dead they find?

Dabbing holy water in that fashion is more a symbolic action so won't affect your use of holy water later. Besides, it's a great bit of rp and you don't deserve to be punished for that.

I agree with the simplicity thought. I've been playing rules heavy so long that it's refreshing not to have to worry about all that extra stuff. Of course, the funnel is a bit different than normal adventures; you reach first level and there will be more rules and such but it still seems pretty simple comparatively.

Another comment on DCC in general and the just finished combat: there is a greater onus on the player to describe actions. You all have been doing great in that regard so far but I'm not going to assume you're searching bodies unless you say so (this time is an exception). As for the combat itself, I'll roll your initial targets randomly if I don't get enough to determine a characters target by your description. 'Chaos of battle' etc, etc.

Finally, it doesn't look like any of you have added the gear you purchased to your ch aracter sheets. Taking gear from your downed comrades is a time-honored tradition of (potentially) increasing your survivability. Plus there was some talk iirc about certain characters carrying gear for others: there should be a note about that somewhere. Yes, it could be important. Doghead, you also haven't added the +1 Luck award to Narancasta (add to his Luck score) from early in the game.

Cheers.

It would have a long way to go before even approaching PF, for example.

Sounds good.

Guilty. I will head over and update the character sheets now.

I did mention N. collecting the gear B. was carrying I think, but didn't even think of the other two. The money N. left with the boy. That being said, I would say we are "borrowing" the gear from our comrades, to be returned to the families later.

On that note, S. will take B.'s stick. She doesn't have a melee weapon at the moment.
