FYI: Y'all please feel free to jump in and talk. I was kind of like "Oh, *(&^!" when everyone but Steve went with being part of the Black Tide. I have no intention of being the motivator and decision maker for the party. I think it makes a sort of sense right now since we're all fresh off our mercenary stint and used to roles in the organization, but hope it loosens up over time.

Basically, I don't want anyone to feel their RP options and ability to make decisions is being limited due to the background setup of the mercenary company.

Haha, no worries about this. Carad, as you would have noticed from his Charisma, is not exactly a very sociable person. A result of the explicit and implicit ostracizing he encountered in his younger days, and the many years of travelling by himself. So I am RPing him that way. :-)

I guess this is not super critical, but just out of curiosity, and perhaps to flesh out the story, what kind of dragon attacked Black Tide? Blue?

Trying so hard not to metagame what colour the dragon here at Greenest is. ;)

@hafrogman, I encountered some difficulty with dice rolls in my latest post. Saw the dice meta thread that you were testing 4 vs 5 dice rolls in one post. Thought that was it, but I tested also over there, and the 5 dice rolls came up fine, so now I'm stumped.

Red Dragon it is! Naturally we get the toughest dragon on which to stake our revenge. :)
Eh, the target of your revenge is supposed to be Rezmir, the half-dragon who was leading the force itself, not the nameless red dragon(s) I had helping her. :)

I think it's the titles, as I said in the IC thread.

I assume the system can handle 10 variables per post. One is given over to "number of dice rolls" which is what triggers the warning if you muck with the roller. Then 5 rolls plus 5 titles becomes too many. But that's just my theory. Still, 5 rolls with no titles seems to work.

Our capacity for vengeance is relatively elastic.

Yeah, I've routinely gotten 6 to 8 rolls in a post, but I don't use titles, I just write the words out before the roll brackets.
