If the rats prove to hard to deal with without oil, I would be remiss as a DM to not point out that the keep's store room is at most a turn or two away back down the tunnel. All you have to do is get Escobar to open the gate again, admitting that you were thwarted by ROPNS*.

I've been letting the IC thread lie since it's been the weekend, but I'd like to push on today. If you could get a post or at least intentions in place, that'd be great.

I was figuring that Venn would simply do as he is told. Dark places don't scare him but rats might for some strange reason. Especially ROPNS

This is a stupid, gamey question, but can a swarm of rats be shoved? Because if they can be shoved back 5 feet, I'd definitely push them back into the moonlight.

It is a stupid gamey question, with a stupid gamey answer. Yes, a swarm can absolutely be shoved. Immune to prone, but not forced movement
