Has anybody's SVGames order shipped yet?

If you ordered from this merchant, and you are unhappy, check out your shopping cart at his site. The email confirming your order has a direct link to check the status. At the top of this "shopping cart" page, there is a link to "Rate this merchant." Rate him. Don't know how much good it will do, but you might feel a little better afterward.

Let's see. Ordered (and card charged) March 10. Email says orders ship in 2-4 busines days.

I email on April 2 (17 "business days") to get a status. Prompt reply (less than 24 hours later) tells me that the site says this Chainmail special will ship the week of March 31.

Week of March 31 has come and gone. Since they apparently only ship on "business days" my order should have gone out by last Friday at the latest.

It has now been 22 "business days" (and 32 "real" days) since my order.

I'll see if my order comes today. If not, I'll fill out my rating tonight.

Not to mention the fact that he processed everyone's payments well before shipping the merchandise, which, as I believe someone else indicated, is a violation of FTC statutes.

Processing payment is not a violation. It's the lack of notice of the vendor's failure to deliver when it said it would.

To Joseph Elric Smith's point, I may be in the minority on this, but I would MUCH rather receive my merchandise a day later if it means I would've received an order status update a week ago.

I'm with Dingleberry. And I'm also not looking for a personalized response. All I'm looking for is a note to those whose orders haven't shipped explaining the delay and looking at a revised ship date.

Also, and in all honesty I don't know the answer to this, how hard is it to set up an auto-respond system. My order is placed, I get an auto confirmation. My order ships, I also get an auto confirmation. The computer sees a big delay between my order date and my ship date, and I get an e-mail saying there's been a delay. This doesn't necessarily entail any direct human action beyond keeping track of the order DB, which he should be doing anyway.

Minis

I recieved mine on Monday. THe web site clearly stated they were not to be shipped until the week of the 31st. They replied to my emails and phone calls.

My order page and my email confirmation stated that my order would be shipped within 2-4 days. It's been significantly longer than that.

The guy is probably just overwhelmed with orders, but I don't know that firsthand, and I've been burned before. To protect myself, I'm disputing the charge on my credit card, for "nonreceipt of mail order goods." (If you don't do this within 60 days of placing the order, you may lose the right to do so.) If and when I receive my order, I'll let the charge go through and he'll get his money.

shipped

it says shipped in 2-4 days. If it shipped on the 4th or 5th and is going mail it will take a while. The usps can be very slow.
