Has anybody's SVGames order shipped yet?

I think I'm in the same boat as AuraSeer. It's feeling more like 4-6 weeks now, and I still don't have my order or a response from them. Glad to hear that some people are getting what they paid for though. Too bad I'm not one of them, yet.

If I were in California I would be inclined to pay them a personal visit!

Part of the issue isn't the simple fact that the email he sent in "response" to the purchase and the site don't jive, creating customer confusion; nor only the fact that he charged the card immediately without shipping the item; but the lack of responses to emails and calls. If at least he responded saying "Hey, sorry guys, but I'll get it out to you in the next 3 days. Just alot of orders" or something... but he hasn't. The whole "He has no staff, it's just him." isn't an excuse. If a business can't meet it's commitments and provide a modicum of customer service, it shouldn't be in business.

The guy is probably just overwhelmed with orders, but I don't know that firsthand, and I've been burned before. To protect myself, I'm disputing the charge on my credit card, for "nonreceipt of mail order goods." (If you don't do this within 60 days of placing the order, you may lose the right to do so.) If and when I receive my order, I'll let the charge go through and he'll get his money.

This is what I intent to do. If I get my bill before I get my order, I'll challenge it.

I do the same thing with New Wave when I do order from them and it works.

BAM!

Exactly.

But I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and try see things through his eyes.

Maybe he just got overwhelmed. It happens. And what's also slowing him up is all the phone calls and emails saying "Where's my miniatures?"

It seems like a lot of people took advantage of the sale.

Also, didn't it say "THE WEEK of March 31st.?"

As of this writing, that week ended 5 days ago. If he has a lot of orders it WILL take time to mail them out.

Come'on, just give the guy a chance.

Hmm, I ordered mine on 3/10 also. I'm hoping that this indicates that I'll see the order soon.

Got mine yesterday (4/9), ordered them on 3/10. Never received any email that it was shipping, it just kind of arrived.

Hold out hope, they're on the way. I know I was starting to wonder myself if it would ever arrive.

I agree.
Besides, the money I'm saving on the mini's is enough that them being a week or so late won't bother me.

Latest Update

From the SVGames front page:

Chainmail Customers Update: Due to extremely high demand and late arrival of our shipment, orders are shipping 5-7 days later than expected. We apologize for the delay and are working around the clock to minimize the disruption to you. Thank You

Got Mine!!

Just picked it up @ PO Box. Looks like everything's there too.

I sure hope the wife doesn't go into labor this weekend, I got a lot of filing and pinning and priming to do! ;)

I ordered on the 6th, and I got my box today. Just finished inventoring everything, and there was only one minor error where one of the WotC 6-pack boxes had an ogre instead of a sixth male elf fighter, lol. On an order this size, that's hardly worth any fuss. Here was my full order:

1 Axe Wielding Orc Miniature
1 Chainmail Ahmut Scythe & Slaughter Combo
1 Chainmail Drazen's Brute Force Combo Box
1 Chainmail Ravilla Elves Combo Box A
1 Chainmail Thalos Combo Box
1 D&D Monsters III Box Mini

4 Male Human Paladin Miniature
4 Male Human Rogue
2 Minotaur Skeleton Miniature
2 Mordengard Dwarf Raider
1 Mordengard Dwarf Thunderlasher
2 Mordengard Ice Paraelemental

1 Thalos Aasimar Cleric
1 Thalos Avenging Light Combo Box
1 Thalos Human Swiftwing Disciple
2 Thalos Human Templar
6 Troglodyte With Longspear

Not bad for $150! When its all broken down, it comes to just over 150 minis. :D

With any luck, maybe some day I will paint them, heh... :p
