I’m very much inclined to not buy anything from companies that use an IP to make an easy buck through gambling, booze or other stuff that are - objectively or in my own opinion - detrimental to society. I have less and less tolerance for greedy @ssholes without an ounce of ethic spine.

Given it’s for online gambling, I’m now envisioning Pokémon-like battles where you place bets on head to head combats between D&D iconics.
Meanwhile all I can see is Elminster in a mankini draped over the rollers of a slot machine showing results using beholders, mimics, and gold pieces.

I envy you your visual as I do not want to see Elminster in a mankini but Borat burned that notion into a part of my brain that will not go away. ever.

Anyway. To shift away from comedy...

Hasbro sees WotC as a house full of valuable brand IP they can license out, franchise, etc. Some of the deals are going to look unsavory. Some will be cool. But that's where D&D's future is. Until Gen-X has moved on from the world, it's going to be anything that can trigger our nostalgia and get us to fork over some cash.

If Elminster is showing off he either possesses a willing female host or uses magic to take a beautiful female form. Elminster is Gender Fluid to some degree, and when he is a her that is when she's more exhibitionistic.
