Congrats! I will now bestow the one and only piece of unsolicited fatherly advice I always give: Do whatever you must to cope with the sleep deprivation of the first two months. Eat fatty foods or watch bad reality television or go outside and scream at the moon. Whatever it takes for the first two months.

After two months then you still won't be getting much sleep but the baby will start to smile and you won't care anymore.

Bah...bad idea...then you will be tired and fat !

Big congrats! I don't think there are many things that are as special to a man as holding his first-born son. Don't get me wrong...I love my daughter too...but there is just something intangible about that first boy.

Here's to sleeping through the night early for you and your wife !
