I'm a life-long Mel Brooks fan so I'm in. But does this ad look like a half-hearted Drunk History episode to anyone else?

I really hope they have it in the budget to give those people a real language instead of just those stupid accents.

Julia Stiles was fine. Really. I like her. If you want to say that there were watchable moments in Season 5 (S4 was the Trinity killer) I wouldn't fight you.

But S6-S8 wasn't just bad, it was dire.

5 was fine 4 was the best. Then yeah kinda fell off a cliff.

I'll maintain that Season 6 had its moments, but its season finale was definitely the beginning of its descent into garbage.

Definitely also got Drunk History vibes from it. Living up to the original, and the original's cast, will be no easy task. Still, I'm excited to give it a watch.

Even in his heydey, Mel Brook's movies were hit-or-miss. But when they hit . . . . oof, you could die laughing, after splitting some internal organs . . . .

I'm cautiously optimistic.

The trailer was . . . okay . . . but it was just a trailer. It did feel a little overly star-studded, however.
