How do like your PDFs?

Treasures of Freeport does, as well as several others I've purchased.

I prefer to kill trees for my PDFs, so it's not an advantage to me, but if I were to use one on my computer, I'd definitely prefer it. Depending on the type of product, it might well cry out to be used that way.

Side bookmarks.

Landscape format is nice for online reading, but not very good for printing. On the other hand, I'm actually used to portrait format online reading now.

Side bookmarks.

Honestly, in-text links drive me nuts when I'm using my laptop, because I often just click onthe page and drag it up or down to scroll....

And accidentally hit a link when I click and find myself somewhere ELSE in the book.

Both bookmarks and h-links - oh, and portrait over landscape anyday. I like it to look like I actually have a real book (if you squint a bit at the screen, and have a really good printer), even though no trees were harmed in the making of it.

Both, but if I have to choose just one, then definitly portrait. I print out select pages for use at the table, and often print the entire thing out for easy reading (I stare at a screen all day, don't make me do it in my free time too) and landscape just doesn't work very well when placed in a binder.

Another suggestion is make the landscape full color, and the portrait b&w with no background and limited art for ease of printing. I hate having a PDF spool for 10 minutes per page due to the background, then find out that it has used 3/4 of my toner up by the time it's finished printing.

Not sure if you are famaliar with our company, but most of the work we do is all full color. There will be a printer friendly version included with little to no art.
