How do you pronounce "Minotaur"?
Min-oh-tour for me. Even though I would pronounce Minos as My-nohss, and Minotaur is derived from ... eh, semantics.
The real fight at my gaming table is Drow.

I say the ow as if pronouncing "cow" or "now". My girlfriend insists it is like the sound in "crow" or "row", considering this sound, too, follows an r. To which I use "brow" and we get nowhere.
This is why Dark Elves or Dunmer is much simpler :/

Min-uh-tar, but just discovered I've been saying "lichen" incorrectly for 40 years. Oops.
(Though thankfully, that's never come up in normal conversations)

I've always pronounced it - "Men-Uh-Tar", which is I think very common in the US (Will Wheaton seems to say the same thing).
However, I've known since probably 7th grade that that is technically or at least probably wrong, since the Greek name basically means "Bull of Minos". So the pronunciation probably should be something like "My-No-Tore" (long 'o'?) or "My-Naw-Tore" (short 'o')?
