That aside, let's not turn this into one of those small-town "you are slightly different to me" threads. We all did that in the 1990s when meeting distant people on the Internet was exotic and exciting. We should be used to it by now.

I was surprised and interested by that version of "Minotaur". I'd never encountered it before. I see enough US media to know about most different pronunciations, I think.

As I mentioned earlier, it's fun and interesting to hear how other people in other places pronounce things, but let's not do the whole "my way is better than yours" thing, please. There's nothing fun or interesting about that.
