D&D General How old were you when you started playing D&D?

I think I was 9 or 10. Started with a group of friends in our classroom after school. We played for weeks until the party all died after being lured by some leocrottas. Im 51 now and I still hate those things.

I voted 10-12, but it's possible I was 9. Hard to recall exactly at the now advanced age of 48. Red box, soon moving on to Expert then 1E.

Started when I was about 21 or 22. Can't remember now.

I am currently almost 63.

11, now 56. Original 3 books.

I was 11 and played in someone's game they 'invented' (took the BECMI rules and rewrote it, saying it was their own). Didn't know it was an official game till 12 when I found Dragon in my middle school library.
I'm hitting 44 this year.

Started when I was 7 and I turn 47 later this year. Some time in August will be my 40th anniversary of when I first played D&D.

Started at 21. Turn 60 this year.

My fighter got killed in the Tomb of Horrors when I was 13. I'm 47.

Started in the winter of ’99-’00, was 14. I’m 35 now.

I was 12 when I first played D&D (Mentzer Basic Set). I'm turning 47 this year.
