I went with slightly lower magic, but to be truthful I've ran games that start high magic and go low magic, and vice versa.

I toyed with the idea of making multiple choices ok because of that reason, but.. in the worlds of an immortal "I left it off hoping that people would back the tough choice." :)

I voted average, but understand this means in line with the D&D guidelines, which are very high magic in my opinion.

my game

currently its low magic. I have slowed level progression accross the board. I expect the whole party to have +1 weapons by level 5. they do have a few minor wands, potions and misc items. this makes the search for masterwork items importent and characters may fight with a different weapon then the one that they took feats for (at least some of the time)

well, my game is fairly high magic, but after this adventure the magic level will plunge rather rapidly because (PLAYERS GO AWAY)

everyone of good or neutral alignment alive at the time that is considered an 'elite' character (4d6 drop the lowest, max hp at first level. Not loser who uses numbers in place of letters) will take the big dirt nap, except for 12 people (The reincarnated souls of 12 fiend-lords that served in a climatic battle eons ago which resulted in my campaign world being somewhat messed up). And since all of those 12 people (the PCs included) lost their memories and former alignments when reincarnated, this means levels as well, which means that what used to be considered bad mojo in the abyss can't even cast improved invisibility nowadays. :(

I think anyone who is playing standard D&D, by the rules, should have voted "high magic," but this wasn't detailed by the poll question.
