Yes, and like most modern art, clearly made by a self-absorbed attention-seeker "immune" to criticism. ;)

Make the class a Strength/Charisma split, add in an extra At-Will for both Primaries (not to mention converting one of the infamous Level 9 Dailies) to give some flexibility, and use Wisdom as the secondary for both. Divine Challenge now deals 5/10/15 + Wisdom damage, throw in a Strength- and damage-based counterpart to Healing Hands (You can use Strength instead of Wisdom for Divine Challenge), and you've made yourself a competent class.

I like that the Paladin, Cleric, and Warlock break the 1 Primary/2+ Secondary mold, and (with the exception of the Cleric) I wish they drove the wedge a little further between the two Primary options to differentiate them. But that's just me.

I like it too - it was left kind of unfinished though.
1) Wisdom based damage for divine challenge kind of cool it makes it a stronger secondary for both.
2) damage base alternative for healing hands (that is the feat right) -

hmmm I was thinking about having Divine Strength be re-useable like Laying on hands...

quite honestly I am being a bit lazy, have good ideas of what I want (corresponding closely to what Dire Human posted) but think the new Divine Power may do lots of my leg work, and I would like to incorporate it anyway so... twiddle twiddle twiddle.

I am annoyed that the Avenger class rather undermined the Avenging Paladin, but I am hoping they will make up for it.. crosses fingers and toes... hard to do when twiddling.
 

Stop trying to fix what isn't broken, people.

Strength/Constitution or Charisma/Constitution is awesome, beautiful, simple and perfect.

Go with it. Seriously. Try it out in your games before you criticise it or try and remake it. It works really, really well.

Like many things in this edition, what looks good or bad on paper, doesn't necessarily translate to the same in game.
