I was born on a pirate ship...

Well, that was fun

Well, not really. But I did make a pirate ship generator. Which also references my mundane treasure generator, my fantasy library generator, and a bunch more things I made.

The Burgundy Lass, under the command of Captain Gillian "Sudden Rat" Barker, is a huge 5-gun sloop with 75 crewmen aboard originally out of Port Inkborough. Its hold is currently filled with a cargo of wine. Other items in the hold include a pristine bronze circlet with a tiny demon motif [common; 8gp], a small gold anklet with a happy troll motif [common; 9gp], a filthy elm carving depicting Prince Fifur [uncommon; 40gp], a pristine steel coffer [very rare; 1000gp], and a flimsy gold jug [common; 1gp].

The Cheerful Ranger, under the command of Captain Archibald "Speedy Jake" Brown, is a battered 15-gun flute originally out of Port Bramdon. Its hold is currently filled with a cargo of weapons. Other items in the hold include a filthy walnut bellows [common; 10gp], a tiny steel flute [uncommon; 60gp], a flawless crimson blanket with charcoal hexagons [rare; 600gp], and a massive fresco depicting a gigantic nymph [uncommon; 40gp].

The Bishop of Greenborough, under the command of Captain Edith "Cold Dog" Green, is a big 4-gun sloop with 62 crewmen aboard originally out of Port Brockden. Its hold is currently filled with a cargo of wool. Other items in the hold include a gigantic bronze paperweight [common; 9gp], and a bulky willow carving depicting the ship The Prince James [very rare; 5000gp].

The Abbot Luke, under the command of Captain Peggy "Drunken Dog" Hoyle, is a huge 98-gun ship of the line originally out of Port Brockworth. Its hold is currently filled with a cargo of rum. Other items in the hold include a battered silver figurine depicting Kargan [common; 1gp], and a magnificent adamantium chest [uncommon; 10gp]. The ship's first mate is Edith "Jolly Sword" Wilson.

need tactical information, advantages and disadvantages type of information; things like: slow to turn port, deep draft (is that the right word) meaning that it does not do shallow water well, fast +1 to speed, etc.

Do it! Make the table(s) and I'll incorporate them into the generator! :)

I see [MENTION=6668169]Mephos[/MENTION] has just made a disease generator. That sounds like something a pirate ship generator could definitely reference! I might tie that in as a possible trait/quality/rumour or something.

Call me unimaginative, but to be honest I have a hard time imagining that any pirate would get his hands on or use a Ship of the Line.

Will see what I can come up with.

Two massive fleets engaged each other, and the battle was indecisive. Bad weather forced the navies to abandon their crippled brethren. Two ships of the line from opposing sides both sat crippled within spitting distance of each other. As their crews watched their allies abandon them to the storm, their captains demanded the crews continue the battle, but one first mate led a mutiny, and united both crews in their shared scorn of those that left them to die.

They rode out the storm, scavenged one ship to repair the other, then set out to find a dark island they could call their home. Their goal: to raise a pirate fleet to destroy both forces that betrayed them.

The illness started soon after leaving the Port of the Ivory Horn, some fever of the jungles. The first night we lost five, with ten more near death's door, the next night the ten had past and twenty more were showing signs. The captain ran up the black dot, calling us a danger to every port and set course for an island he knew. I am now the last man, the fever has taken me, the ship sits in the cove unmanned...

I just added figurheads to the description - can't believe I forgot that! It's a fairly simple [metal] [fantasy critter] combination, like copper medusa or bronze mermaid.
