Seeing the giant run towards the doors, Jack sprung into action, sprinting between the giant beds while reloading his crossbow.

Skidding to halt he caught a glimpse of the brute and aimed Darling between its shoulder blades. "No," he exhaled as he fired.

OOC: Jack moves and then takes cunning action to dash to BF63, which should get HGS1 in his line of sight. He then makes a ranged attack at it (sharshooter).

Attack with light crossbow using sharpshooter: 1D20+5 = [20]+5 = 25
1D8+16 = [4]+16 = 20
Crit again!
Crit damage: 1D8 = [1] = 1
...and a 1 for the extra damage....but I think enough to bring it down.

Jack ran southward between the oversized beds, with Cordit bounding after him to watch his back. He quickly loaded and fired his crossbow, and the bolt struck the fleeing giant in the back of his head. The giant thumped against the door before sliding to the ground, but it was no louder than anything else that was occurring in the room.

OOC: You got him.

Quinn held the heavy curtain aside as he fired a bolt of starlight that struck a young giant. It was all Cordit needed - she grabbed that giant and proceeded to pound him into the ground until he stopped moving.

OOC: Quinn & Cordit killed YHG5. I think @Hriston Bible & @Shadowedeyes Valda still need to go to roll the round.

Valda rushes across the room, through the curtain that Quinn just fired his bolt of starlight through, advancing towards the remaining giants with a grim sort of glee.

OOC:
Just going to dash over to BJ54.

Legend
With Cordit smashing the second-to-last young giant, and Valda and Quinn showing that the giants that had gone into the northern chamber had not survived, the last remaining young giant held her hand up to the older, but clearly subservient giantess, and said, ::Hold! We're done.::

Switching to broken common, she held up both hands and said, "I surrender. You take me prisoner now."

OOC: Bible's pretty far away and will probably dash too, so I'll just end the fight here.

"Someone see to them while I check the doors," said Jack while skirting around a dead giant near a huge pair of doors. He then tried to peer through the crack between them while listening carefully.

OOC: Jack moves to the pair of double doors in the southwest corner of the room and looks/listens.
Perception check: 1D20+10 = [4]+10 = 14

Bible wipes the gore from Weythe's blade onto her wool skirt and approaches the young giant and her servant.

::Well done, my love,:: Bible addresses the giant-girl with endearment. ::You've done right to surrender and to avoid more fightin' and bloodshed. An act that befiks one of high birth, perhaps even the daughter of a chief, if I yam not mistaken?::

Bible glances almost deferentially at the giantess, awaiting her response, watching and listening for anything that might reveal her identity or offer some leverage in dealing with Nosnra.
