Realizing the ruse is up Evendur unleashes two quick bolts of eldritch magic at their shadow, striking once but missing the second time. The man grunts in pain and whispers "You will have to do better then that witch" and catches the warlock with a deep cut on his leg...

Levanna and Alegast quickly realize that the man was not fooled by Evendur nor did he fall when attacked! It may now be up to them to stop the man...

Levanna hurried around the corner to the sounds of the fight. In the gloom of the alley, she could barely pick out the scuffling forms. She raised her staff, but hesitated. She could not be sure which of the two was her friend until the thug spoke and slashed Evendur's leg.

"No!" she yelled. "Arcaniss nil'gnos!"

White hot bolts of magical energy trailing violet and red wisps erupted from an outstretched hand, slamming into her foe and briefly illuminating the alley.

“So no one knows where Levanna and the others went?” the cleric asked with a frown, looking up and down the dark street.

Tirion paused, hearing something faintly in the night. "Up the street!" he said, catching the flare of arcane light from an alley. "Magic!"

Just before the pair head out of theDevil's Den the merchant smiles at Kelvyn and replies "Marcus von Silverson at your service..."

Kelvyn tips his hat to von Silverson. "I look forward to discussing the matter with you again soon." He strolls out as if he hasn't a care in the world.

He approaches Brak to discuss his conversation, but at Tirion's words he raises his crossbow and advances toward the alley.

Brak groggily raised an eyebrow and followed after Tirion.

OOC: Brak will follow Tirion. If he hears the sound of battle, he'll move further (Brak has fast movement, so he moves at 40' as opposed to 30' as his move, double that if he can dash).

[section]As Alegast heard the sound of battle, he unsheathed his sword while Levanna moves to help Evendur. Ushering the mystic words that only members of his order know, Alegast charged his blade with magic and rushed to help his friends. The sword "sings" with a magical sound as the magic makes Alegast move faster than usual.

As Levanna attacks the shadow with her magic, Alegast attempts to bring him down with his sword, but the shadow was able to avoid his attack... [/section]

Rushing up the street toward the flash of magic, Tirion could now hear the sounds of fighting and recognize Levanna’s voice as she cast. Rounding into the alley he spots Evendur and Levanna in battle with a dark-clothed figure. As Alegast engages as well, Tirion pulls up.

“Pelor, grant me your weapon,” Tirion prayed, making the holy gestures and thrusting his hand out at the shadow. The form of a mace made of glowing light appeared near the attacker and swung.

Battling just Evendur, the shadowy figure was arrogant and rash, but as Levanna rounds the corner and unleashes a barge of silvery magical darts and Alegast moves into melee with him his confidence starts to wane... and then when he notices Brak rushing forward and a semi-transparent hammer slams into his side he has had enough!!!

Cursing under his breath he flees back the way him can, darting around a corner of the ally way to make his escape!!!!




[OCC -on his action Gathel (the shadower) take a bonus action to Disengage and then his Action to Dash along with his normal movement. The ally way is 20ft away so he moves there and then around the corner. I will post in the OCC threat but anyone going around the corner needs to make a Wisdom (Perception) check, at disadvantage if you don't have low-light or dark-vision

One note though, Evendur still has an action he can take BEFORE the fellow moves but not waiting to long for the post before we move on.../OCC]
