As Uhtred checked the various exits Naeris started growling back the way they had come. Uhtred paused and looked at the entrance, "Perhaps we should check that out?"

He started walking towards the entrance when Tirion asked, “Is anyone in need of healing before we proceed?” Taking stock of himself Uhtred realised he was a bit worse for wear. "I could do with some, but I have some healing potions."

OOC: I have 5 healing potions, which I think I should use over Tirion's spell slots for now.

And I realised that I forgot about my Periapt of Wound Closure when we had our short rest, but it's too late to worry about now.

Uhtred rummaged in his pack to find the healing draught, downing two of them left him feeling better. "I'll stay slightly ahead out of the light, with a bit of luck I can get the drop on whatever it is." With that Uhtred headed back the way they came, pausing only briefly to check his companions were following.

But it soon faded as she considered her metaphysical state. "However, my magic is being depleted. It is not a concern now, but I will soon require a 'breather' to refresh it." she explained.

Otherwise ready to continue she took her position within the party again, holding her glowing staff to give them the best degree of light that she could.[/section]

“Give me a moment,” Tirion said. He clutched his holy symbol and focused. His body started to glow and it spread out, enveloping the others. They felt vibrancy and health returning.

Then Tirion pulled out one of his own healing potions and popped the cork, tossing back the thick, syrupy, sweet liquid.

“I am ready,” Tirion said, joining Uhtred at the front of the party.

The heroes form up into their marching order and slowly head back down the tunnel they had come through. The hairs on the big cat Naeris stood almost straight up and they went farther back almost too the stairs.

Suddenly Uhtred and Quellathe spotted another one of those insect men clinging to the ceiling of the tunnel dart back out of the light. With their demihuman enhanced vision they saw the creature flee back down the tunnel and around a corner...

“What did you see?” he asked, searching around the new room for trouble, his spirit guardians still swirling around them, protecting them.

OOC: I was going to post a response, but then just ended up with a couple of questions that aren't really IC questions.

1. Do the smaller tunnels seem like the insect men could get through them easily ?

2. Does it seem that it is the insect men bothering Naeris, or something else?
