D&D 5E [IC] Against the Slavelords

GM: No problem...

1) no the tunnels are too tight for a full sized insect man to crawl through. Someone halfling size might be able to but it would be tight.
2) Naeris seems to be bothered by the insect man - when she see's it she growls and gets ready to jump but does not per Quellathe's command - but the ranger can also tell that the cat is just plain freaked out by the smells down here. It could be something more and the cat is getting much more agitated the farther down the tunnel you go...

"Another one of those insect men." Uhtred answered Tirion. "If that is what is bothering Naeris we could be running backward and forward all day. Perhaps if we took the other way at the stairs we'll run into their camp or hive or whatever you want to call it."

Levanna felt cool relief when Tirion's spell washed over her. The burning, swollen skin beneath her torn sleeves had fully healed and returned to normal. She uttered a quick invocation and touched her torn garment. The tears magically stitched themselves back together, erasing the last evidence that she had been attacked at all.

Recomposed, she whispered her thanks to Tirion, then mulled in silence about the group's options. She had no expertise regarding Naeris, but Uhtred's point prompted her to study her surroundings. Perhaps she could find a clue about the insect men's behavior, or for signs of their lair in the walls and floor. She shifted her staff to give herself more light to consider the surfaces each in turn.

Quellathe nodded her thanks to Tirion for the healing, feeling a bit akward. She was still not used to relying on her companions for aid. Entering the tunnel, she put her hand on Naeris to calm her a bit. "I do not like leaving something on our backtrail that agitates Naeris so, but Uhtred has a point. Very little of my training was underground, I will follow the wisdom of the group."

GM: Note as I don't have a map it can be confusing here. You are in a long tunnel, the one you took the stairs down. The stairs down gave you two choice on where to go. With a dwarf I will say you know the tunnel you took was too the west that lead into the large room where you fought the Drones. After the fight Naeris sensed something back trough the tunnel that you had entered and when you walked back almost to where the stairs where you so another drone which looked like it was trying to sneak up on you but when it saw you ran away back down the tunnel. The way that you did not go originally when you came down the stairs.
If you go back into the chamber there are two main tunnels leading out and a number of smaller ones. Of the two main tunnels, one goes west and one leads south.

Kelvyn gives a little shiver and nods agreement. "Those little bug fellows crawling on the ceiling give me the willies. I agree we should look for their lair rather than give them a chance to ambush us on ground of their choosing." He reloads and waits nervously shuffling from foot to foot until those in front to continue.
