D&D 5E [IC] Against the Slavelords

Uthred rushed forward and tried to knock one of the drows down but the guard easily danced away from the dwarf and his axe slash! Levanna called up her familiar and she moved behind the table and ducked down. Quellathe moved up towards the last drow and slashed it with one of her scimitars, geaviously wounding it. Kelvyn shot a bolt at one but missed, curing his luck. Then Tirion called on his healing powers and burned the poison out of his bloodstream with a holy light.

The drow all dropped their weapons and say in broken common “Surrender!!” But the dwarf seemed to be having none of this and cut two of them down with his axe. He shouted (in dwarven) “Curse all elves to the enteral torment of the dark gods!!!!” The last remaining guard tried to move to try and get behind Quellathe, exposing himself to Uthred’s blade as he continues in broken common “Surrender, Surrender!!!”

GM: Initiative Uhtred -21 Levanna & the Drow Witch -20 Orc -16 Quellathe and Kelvyn -9 Drow Guard -6 Tirion -5 Dwarf -4 [sblock=Rolls]Uhtred tries to knock the drow over, resisted by the Drows Acrobatics (target can chose between Athletics or Acrobatics so), Acrobatics check: 1D20+3 = [20]+3 = 23, hmm guess so and so his second attack misses. Levanna calls up her familiar and moves behind the table for ¾ cover (+5 AC) Quellathe (don’t worry I trust you guys, so I accept the rolls) moves towards the drow guards and attacks the last one, missing one and striking one for 10 damage (bring him down to 1 HP) Kelvyn shots at one of the drow but misses. Tirion cast Lessor Restoration and removes the poison condition on himself Badguys, The drow try and surrounder. Ohlm attacks twice, Attacks and damage if he hits: 1D20+9 = [12]+9 = 21; 1D12+6 = [2]+6 = 8 1D20+9 = [12]+9 = 21; 1D12+6 = [9]+6 = 15, normally he could re-roll the 2 but its enough to kill the drow so no need to. He kills the one in front of Uhtred next. The last remaining drow tries to move away from Ohlm then, behind Quellathe. Uhtred can have a OA against him if he was as he moves out of melee with him. The drow tried to surrender and dropped their weapons but the dwarf hacked them apart anyway.

"Murderous bastard!" Cried Uhtred, "Stop it." Not really sure what had made the dwarf fight for them Uhtred was hesitant to attack him.

[section]Help my friends, Levanna thought. The mental command sent Ciymthrax flapping away from her. He flew toward Uthred with his talons stretched forward, ready to rake at anyone Uthred faced.

Levanna struggled to her feet and to the doorway where she saw two of the remaining dark elves fall. With the tides turned so dramatically she felt safer entering the room. Still she took cover behind the table and kept pressure on her leg in an effort to staunch her bleeding.

She released the Suggestion spell and called out "Surrender would be a very good idea for you too, dwarf." But then again, people were rarely rational in situations like these.

As the drow backed out of the fight and tried to surrender, only to be cut down by the crazed dwarf in plate, Tirion spotted Levanna limping into the room. Uhtred was hesitating from attacking the dwarf and Tirion wasn’t sure why. He was still a bit confused after awaking from unconsciousness.

Tirion moved to interpose himself between Levanna and the dwarf as Uhtred fenced the armored warrior off. “Do you need healing, my lady?” Tirion asked even as he reached for his holy symbol.

Kelvyn reloads, his crossbow and watches the unfolding chase between the unarmed Drow and the Dwarf with some consternation, clearly unsure how to proceed. "Um, what now?" He moves to the door with the Drow tried to flee and keeps watch for further foes.

The dwarf shakes his head and yells "Hel's black breath, what did ye do to me you witch! You runts think you can take me? I will kill you all... starting with you witch!" he says taking a step towards Levanna...

GM: You all could have had Readied actions, so you can decide what you want to do. He appears to be ready to charge Levanna...

The dwarf threatening Levana was enough for Uhtred, as the slaver stepped towards Levana Uhtred swung his ax at him, hoping to trip him, but missed. As Uhtred swung his ax back up connecting solidly with the slaver but not stopping him.

"Flee my Lady." He yelled, not wanting to see the result of the slaver getting close enough to use his ax.
