"... I'm with the Death and the Death is with me... "
Turning the corner, Chrysagon hears the whistling behind those curtains. "So, it has began" he thought. Swiftly, he draws one of his javelins,

"And when the night is dark, when I see no light,
You are by my side, guiding my sight."

and throws it blindly through the fabric, only guided by his Divinity... and the sound of Harb's foot landing on the thug's face.

Rodrigo cursed - the thugs were too far! - until the Nameless one shifted position. He had his opening

Ooc: move to O8 and attack

sword attack vs thug in alley, maybe advantage since was hidden, if so 2nd roll is advantage: 1D20+5 = [17]+5 = 22
1D20+5 = [20]+5 = 25

Rushing forward, he did not take any special maneuvers, lettings speed and surprise being his weapon as he drew his rapier and jabbed at the thug's chest

attack vs thug in alley, 2nd dice is optional depending on advantage: 1D8+1D8+5 = [5]+[1]+5 = 11

OOC: so damage is 10 or 11 depending on advantage

The blade sunk easily in the thug's chest, almost too easily... this wasn't like practice with a blunt blade. Wide eyed, Rodrigo yanked the blade back and got into guard.

Nameless & Rodrigo

'Harb' shifted smoothly from drunken lout to skilled combatant. He spun around his staff and kicked the thug in the chest, who stumbled back while swinging his sword. Harb spun his staff and smoothly parried the blade, while Rodrigo strode out of the shadows and quickly stuck the pointy-end of his rapier between the man's ribs, killing him instantly.

The body dropped to the ground without so much as a gasp escaping his lips.

GM: Rule of thumb: If you have to move before attacking, you are no longer hidden.
[sblock=rolls]Attack: 1D20+3 = [10]+3 = 13
1D8+1 = [4]+1 = 5

Gone: (PCs) Nameless, Rodrigo; (BGs) Thug1
Damage Taken: (PCs) None; (BGs) Thug1 5 & 10 (Dead)

Chrysagon

"There's another back here!" shouted the second of the smuggler's guards on the ground, who then fired his crossbow quarrel into a water-barrel as Chrysagon came around the corner. Ignoring it, Chrysagon threw a javelin, which scraped the man's thigh before clattering to the cobblestones.

GM: [sblock=rolls]Attack: 1D20+3 = [9]+3 = 12
1D8+1 = [4]+1 = 5

Gone: (PCs) Chrysagon; (BGs) Thug2
Damage Taken: (PCs) None; (BGs) Thug2 6

Hearing the thug cry out Dellrak, who thinks he is hidden, (but isn't) moves quickly out from behind the corner of the building bow in hand. He makes his way to the corner of the alley and let's loose at the man's back.

The arrow gives a satisfying thunk as it sticks the man between the shoulders. Dellrak looks at the bow a second and grins. "Not bad, not bad at all."

OOC:
Target Thug2, move to O6
[roll0]
[roll1]

Across the street, Miss Imogen sees her companions begin to move. None can easily reach the third figure, the one pointed out to her by the second child she had recruited. She nocks an arrow, and lines up a shot carefully, breathes in, and releases.

OOC: Sharpshooter: [roll0] to hit, damage = [roll1] piercing.

OOC: I didn't because I stayed more than 30' away.
Here's stealth: [roll0].
If advantage applies, the roll to hit is the higher of 11 and [roll1].
Thanks [MENTION=23]Ancalagon[/MENTION] for the keen insight!
