"Holy mother- It's so FAST!" exclaimed Fastus, scrambling for his shield even as blood continued trickling out of his newly-minted wounds (with the adrenaline he didn't even feel them though!). "Sachi, move! You're in my way!"
Jariah was bringing up the rear, but mental communication going back and forth with her eidolon was keeping her apprised of the precarious situation inside the house. He companions were in bad shape.
She followed after and stopped just outside the doorway, able to see what was going on for herself. She cast a cantrip again and touched her eidolon to provide Jakira with a little extra competence.
Jariah answered Fastus, “You can just wait a moment and Jakira will shift out of the way. Then let Sudrel use his longer reach before you close the gap.”
The turkey vulture makes an odd, strangled noise as it glances to the fallen half-orc, then sweeps forward, past Faustus and over Jakira. The bird snaps out with its beak, but fails to connect.
Net result: that particular 'gap' no longer existed. BUT Sachiko was creating a new one for him even as all this was going on.
So Fastus finished straightened, shield in hand and already gratefully diving into the opening she left for him. But as he did so he caught sight of Elsbeth through the doorway, lying there in her own blood... "ELLI!" Those near him could literally FEEL the heat blast of his emotions pulsing out.
He snapped back to the creature, eyes filled with hurt and rage: "YOU BASTAAAARD!" And his shout was suddenly a wide jet of roaring red flames licking at the cause of his misery! The flames singed the creature a bit.
Wireth does not stablize and looses another hit point as he continues to bleed.
Jakira was finally in position to really start going to town on the creature. After having his way blocked from pouncing before, he had to settled for a single bite. Now he was slashing and gnashing up close and personal.
“This warrrden is tuff furrr a halfling.” The feline eidolon had not liked the previous taste and it had demotivated Jakira in wanting to even touch the creature. After all that fury, he had not done a think to the warden.
Jakira shifted position to the right at his mistress’s mental instructions, opening a gap between him and Festus for Suldrel to potentially have an easier time reaching the bugger.
Elsbeth was down. Wireth was down. Sachiko was standing right there next to the creature... The anger with Suldrel boils over and he begins stabbing madly at the "Warden" with his spear. Alas, with the elf not quite thinking straight he is not able to quite correctly judge his enemies movements.
