Combat - Round 1/2 - Wrap Up
Nairo remains flying high above the action below.
"Hold on a second, I do not know what that rat did but I am bleeding like a stuck pig over here," says Suldrel as he does his best to stem the flow of blood.
He is able to stop the bleeding.
"Hold on a second," says Sachiko, "I want to see what's going on!"
She darts out to the door of the cabin and yanks it open.
"Everything all right?" she demands!
Jariah remained in place waiting for the critter to show itself. She knew that she saw something and it was not a trap, but a live creature.
"It's only one of those big rat-things," sulked Fastus, following much more slowly.
"If it won't reveal itself again, we could be standing here all day. Sudrel, was it when you tried opening the door that it attacked? Maybe we should try that again."[/color]
Wireth tries to position himself to take advantage should the creature actually become a target again.
Elsbeth scans the walls looking for Suldrel's mysterious attacker.
"I see nothing. Are you certain you were bitten by something and didn't simply injure yourself on a sharp object?" she calls out.
Jakira remained in place waiting for the critter to show itself. Jakira commented, “I canno do it, tis a pull ta open.”
The summoner said, “Yes, it was live creature, Elsbeth.”
At Wireth’s suggestion she just shrugged when Suldrel looked at her. She was not about to open the door herself.
Jariah turned back to Wireth as she held her acid splash ready in case the thing appeared again. “Maybe you and Fastus can open the door in the other room and catch it from behind.”
The rat thing pops out near Elsbeth and attacks the half-elf. But the attack fails to connect and then the rat thing disappears back into the wall. Elsbeth was able to get a good look at it and it had tiny human hands in place of its front paws, and an unnerving human face with a toothy mouth. Jariah caught a glimpse of it out of the corner of her eye as it disappeared back into the wall. No one else saw it this time.
