Elsbeth was astonished the group was making a deal with the creature. Granted, she was willing to leave and let it live but to actually negotiate with it was unheard of. If that was what the others were willing to do, then so be it. The creature had given them a map.so she supposed that showed good faith. Although the map could be a fake.
"Alright, if it will speed things up, I promise to tell people not to come out her. However, if we tell people that it's too dangerous, some adventerous people might venture out thinking there is valuable treasure being guarded out here."
