"Here we go again..." said Lorenn.

Then,
impersonating Gromph Baenre, "I'd like you to do a brief mission..." whispered Lorenn to his comrades.

Lorenn had the accent perfect, but he had the intention wrong. The Drow Archmage ignored him (though it was almost certain that he had heard) and continued, "The Host Tower spent many years ruined as you may have heard. Recently, I rebuilt it using the power of a Primordial. Still, when it was destroyed, many of the Brotherhood's collection of artefacts were crushed, lost, or stolen. The Drakhorn was one of the latter. As I understand it, this fact was discovered late in the Crimson's negotiations with your Sage. Knowing that you would be gathered to come and take it, and not wanting to renege on her promise, the Crimson tracked the Drakhorn's whereabouts to the iceberg Lair of the frost dragon Arauthator in the Sea of Moving Ice. Oyaviggaton is the name of the lair, and there is where she went."

He paused and waved his hand and an illusion of a broken ship stuck in the ice appeared before them. Bodies were covered in snow or frozen in the ice and some had been gnawed at by seals or other creatures. "This is her ship as it is now. As far as I can discern, she is not among the dead, but she is somewhere where magic cannot locate her. Perhaps within the lair of the Dragon. After all, Dragons tend to ward their lairs against scrying magic. If you wish to find her, and to locate the Drakhorn, I am afraid you will have to go there yourselves."

Kalorn commented dryly: "Perhaps approaching by sea was a mistake".

" do you have other information about this lair or this dragon? Do you intend to provide other assistance for the rescue of your colleague?"
he added.

A dragon! Well, he remembered that they were said to be the weakest of dragons, but still... perhaps there would be some treasure too...

Lorenn starts writing on a little parchment. "Teleportation scrolls, Tasha's Hideous Laughter scrolls, Earthbind scrolls, potions of Flying... Don't worry, I'm making you a list."

Primus studies the illusion. “That’s a fantastic Illusion. How accurate is it? And how did you make it?”

Primus begins setting every detail of it to memory.

"Or she caries an item to protect herself from scrying. Well, at least we know where to look. I suppose that you would like to find your missing mage?"

Mord too studied the illusion, looking for any details that might provide information as to what happened to the ship and it's crew.

The Archmage frowned, "She was a fool to set off ill-prepared for what she would find. She was mistaken to promise your Sage a bargain upon which she could not deliver. No, I am not particularly concerned regarding her return. It seems to me that her well-being is more in your interest than in mine."

The warlock didn't even blink at the assertion. He was mildly surprised that the Drow claimed no interest in his underlings current status. She could be privy to sensitive information to the Brotherhood afterall. But then again, this seemed to be right in line with the standard of Drow ideals, as he understood them. He focused instead in the reason the Drow had decided to see them instead.

"In that case, what interests do you wish to claim in this situation? If we need to negotiate new terms, I would contact Imami that he can be involved in any deal making."

"You misunderstand me," insisted the Archmage to Mord, "I have no interest to claim. In fact, I believe that I have now ended any obligation that the Brotherhood held with you. You have asked for the whereabouts of the Crimson, and I have told you. If you wish to complete your business with her, then I suggest you go and find her. Any further requests on your part would be considered new business. Do you have new business that you wish to discuss with me?"
