Sesto had fallen behind the rest of the group. Alhana and Loklafd had sprinted forward to the sound of Oggsbruff's fight. Lorenn had flown off to, what looked like another pile of frozen treasure. Damn that kleptomaniac! He will be the ruin of us all, Sesto thought as he dashed forward towards the Loklafd and Oggsbruff.
Sesto had just taken a few steps forward when the Loklafd's torch extinguished. The air in front of Sesto shimmered in the light of his shield as if the air itself had frozen. Surprised, Sesto changed course to avoid the frozen air. He decided to continue south around the big ice shelf, going ahead of the slow zombie kobolds. They will catch up eventually, he thought. Watch out for the frozen air, Sesto called out to Primus as he passed him.

OOC: Action: Dash
Move: Sesto ends up around AV32, having not moved in a straight line. First towards Lokfadl and then south avoiding the frozen air. Zombie Kobolds ends up 10-20 feet behind Sesto.

Eastern Lair

Blurcho threw another ice-hunk at the drowned troll, but Sargloth was in the way again and the ice burst over the troll sergeant's shield. The undead scratched the shield, too as Sargloth struck it again and again with his club. Oodnadatta was in the scrum as well, but he couldn't get his head in, as the undead raked his face with a claw. The injury didn't last, as his troll nature quickly sealed the worst of the wound.

Legend
Western Lair

Sesto could make out the thickest part of the icy fog surrounding Loklafd, as his glowing shield caused it to illuminate through the lighter mists as a wall of thick fog. He deftly avoided it, working his way southward as his kobold skeletons followed. Their little claws made scratching noises as the shuffled along behind him, passing Primus who was looking up at the ceiling.

The psychic's superior observations skills were correct: something moved in the darkness above, and he heard the claws release from the ceiling and the wings fill with air as the dracolich swooped through the dense fog. No one could see the thing, but they could feel that it was there.

"Derree iz!" called Oggsbruff as the dragon swooped over his head, "Wachoot!"

Suddenly there was a sucking noise, and then a woosh and Loklafd cried out in terrible pain and shards of ice blew through the densest fog, hurtling across the ice-shelf. Sesto held up his shield and did his best to step back as the wave of freezing air washed over him, his minions, and Primus. Alhana was higher up on an icy ledge, but she too was struck from the darkness by the wave of ice-shards and freezing air.

OOC: I got tired of waiting... Lorenn, Kalorn, and Primus still have to take turns.

OOC: At the moment, sure, but He's behind the heavy obscurement relative to Kalorn, so he can't be seen. Sometimes that's a problem, sometimes it's not.

OOC: What's the range between Kalorn and the dragon? - I imagine Kalorn knows its approximate position due to the troll pointing it out.

OOC: ah, the short range ability needs sight, so I think I'm good!

Kalorn felt frustrated - what could he do! He winced when the dragon breath washed over his friends, but he glimpsed the shape of the beast for a moment. Not enough, but he could at least try something... He raised his left hand, and conjured smoky bolts

a pair of eldrich blast attacks with disadvantage : 2D20+7 = [19, 20]+7 = 46
2D20+7 = [5, 14]+7 = 26

OOC: that's pretty clearly a hit and a miss, unless the dragon only has 12 AC for some reason...

You can't see the dragon, but you absolutely know where it is. You can hear it beating its wings, and it's wings are rippling the fog from its position. For the player, it's 75 feet away from Kalorn, if he stays where he is, which has cover, so it's probably best.
