Vairar quickly closes the wound that inhibits him so much. Sparks stitch across his torso stopping the worst of the bleeding. His smile is replaced by grim resolution.
"Time to end this."

He swings with the hammer connecting solidly with the brute. The power of the Queen of storms remains over the orc threatening him with death if it as much as steps out of his position.

Round 5

Angis swept the dog’s blood off his axe even as he spun them both around, again attacking the orc houndmaster once and the remaining hound with his other axe, transferring his magical mark to the houndmaster. His axe cut deep in the orc’s armor in a spray of blood, causing a grievous wound, his other strike also cutting the hound in half.

Tommi continues moving along the top of the low ridge, heading for the orc standing at the entrance. He has speed, and, Gutter in his hand, he wants to do what he can, as he see and hears hints of Orb5 in the dark passage ahead. He pushes himself, and, at the last moment, leaps...

Over the cliff. He is grace in action, speeding past and leaping into the air with a gentle grace.

Unfortunately, his timing is wrong, and he lands on his face.

OOC: Okay: plan was to move 30, dash 30, and (bonus) dash another 30, which would take him right to the rubble at AN8. With a drop off 10' I roll Athletics to not land prone 1d20+2=5 unbelievable. So he's now prone, and has just taken 1d6=1 bludgeoning damage (or more?).

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
Houndmaster hows as his last dog falls.
"You pay for that!" he shouts swinging the sword twice leaving bloody gashes in the sturdy dwarf that would kill both of his companions. It is enough to get even the dwarf to his knees, but the resilient warrior finds strength enough to remain standing.

OOC: and I just recovered their extra attack :)
EDIT: Sorry @KahlessNestor - high roll on the second attack :( And to think I was considering attacking Dandin for killing one dog...it would leave him barely standing

"HAHA! Ha HAA! You next, puny halfing!"

Angis grunted as the orc’s sword cut through him twice. He staggered, bleeding profusely. He felt his magical mark fade from the houndmaster.

Dandin watched in horror as the orc's weapon bit into Angis. He wasn't fond of being this close to the bigger brutes they'd faced in the past. But with their more stalwart allies out of action, he found himself right up and face to face with this one. Still, he was a halfling, and brave even for that.

"Don't count me out just yet! I might be small, but I've killed my share of brutes like you. Hold on Angis! We've got your back!"

With a flourish, the halfling struck out with his rapier, but his thrust was clumsy and easily sidestepped.

BA: Healing Word: 1d4+2 6 for Angis.

Rapier: 1d20+5 10 1d8+3 5

Legend
The orc on the bridge-ramp had run out of javelins. The Daggerfordian front-line had chosen their position well. Between the dead dogs, and the Houndmaster swinging his big sword in both hands, there was limited space at the top of the ramp. The orc rushed up the wooden ramp and leaped over the body of a fallen dog, throwing his shoulder into Escella to drive her back so that he could have a space from which to deal death with his axe.

OOC: I need a quick resolution on this before I can place my map. @jmucchiello please roll your athletics or acrobatics against the orc's "shove" attack. dc is... 4! Haw! I'll say if you beat him by 10+ (so dc14) he'll fall off the ledge taking 5 damage!
