Angis, with an axe in each hand, hacked the last of the dogs to death with grim stoicism. He and the orc houndmaster traded blows, and while the dwarf took the worst of it, both were bloodied and staggering. On either side of Angis, Dandin and Escella tried to get at the houndmaster as well, but with sword and axes swinging about at the narrow top of the bridge-ramp, they couldn't get in.
Besides, they had troubles of their own as the other two orcs on the bridge-ramp made their moves: One leaped across (as mentioned above) and tried to shoulder Escella to give himself room on the unstable ledge, but she managed to hold her ground. Left with little room, the orc kicked the body of a dog off the ledge, so precious little room remained. The ledge on Dandin's side was narrow enough that an orc had already fallen, and the dead dog had never had enough room to effectively fight him. So the last orc there, who had run out of javelins, threw his only remaining projectile; a hand axe that went over the halfling's head. The orc cursed.
Tommi ran along the ledge and when he got to the eastern side, he jumped down to investigate what was occurring at the tunnel that he'd seen ORB5 enter. What he thought would be a solid landing was loose dirt and rock from where the orcs had tunnelled, and though Tommi's leap had been graceful, his landing was not. He fell on his face in the dirt.
Inside, Vairar made one last desperate move; He slammed the orc there with his hammer, and stepped away. The orc was rattled by the little orb's lightning and let him go, but when the orc cleared its head, it lunged toward the elf. A thunderous pulse rang out from the cleric's hammer that smashed the orc in a final, magical blow. The strange little orb buzzed a happy noise and disappeared into the tunnel.
Outside, Tommi was picking himself up and ORB5 arrived, squeaking and whirring. To his surprise, Tommi discovered that he now knew what had occurred within the crypt, even without exactly understanding ORB5's noises.

Tommi smiles at Orb 5, and he nods as he gets up off the ground. "Thank you, friend," as he squeezes his way into the crypt, and sees Vairar for the first time.
It's like deja vu for him, since he's just received images from the orb. "Hi. Um, my name's Tommi. Me and my friends... well, they're back there." He points, and feels a bit woozy from the lack of blood.
"Are you alright?" he asks Vairar. "Can I help you out?"
If Vairar accepts, it will be him helping Tommi more than the other way around.
OOC:
Move: stand, and into the chamber.
Action follow Vairar, if needed.
Bonus: Dodge. in case there are unseen attackers somewhere.
Dandin didn't even duck as the hand axe flew over his head. The halfling laughed suddenly at the ludicrousness and smiled at the houndmaster. "Are these YOUR minions? Maybe Angus should teach them how to throw an axe for ya!"
The comment got him just the opening he needed. As the Houndmaster turned to respond, the halfling thrust the blade of his rapier through a handy chink in the armor. It wasn't a killing blow, but was definitely a telling one.
Angis straightened up a bit at Dandin’s encouraging words. “Ta, lad,” he thanked the halfling, setting his axes whirling again into deadly engines of death as he went at the Houndmaster again. He brought his axe down with a mighty blow that split the Houndmaster from nose to nuggets.
Angis turned his near feral gaze on the other orc standing beside him, marking him for death, and swinging his other axe backhand at him. He caught the orc in the neck, nearly separating his head from his body.

Vairar startles at human greeting him, he expected another orc. While wary of new arrival, his device DID help distract the orc at the critical juncture.
"Well met, Tommi. Thank you for your help. I am Vairar. Are there any more of the beasts?"
