"Tommi, now is not a time for a nap! We still need help!"
As Tommi returns from the brink, Vairar stabs at the orc who dropped Angis. He snarls at the creature in orc
"Dođi po mene, svinjče! Netko tvoje veličine, ne patuljak!"
"Come for me, piglet! Someone your own size, not the dwarf!"
before stabbing into it, sheating it in the threatening aura of the clouds.

Finally able to help out, Talynen rushed forward, slashing at the two remaining orcs. His attacks from behind them were just enough to allow Lionel and Vairar to finish them off and the room fell suddenly eerily silent, but for Angis who lay on the ground groaning.

Tommi awoke on the floor, not far from Angis. A fallen orc was lying heavily upon his legs. Nearby, Sir Darfin was still bound in strange, magical-looking iron bands. But the portals were closed, and all the orcs lay dead around the room.

Was it truly over?

OOC: Okay, I'll roll for Talynen so we can get this done. He did well enough to let Lionel and Vairar kill the last two orcs. Fight's done! Now what?

Tommi's eyes snap open and he immediately vomits blood as he tries to roll over. The weight of the fallen orc prevents him from doing so, and so he coughs and sputters as he tries to sit up.

Bearings.

Dead orc. No, orcs.
Darfin, with Escella. He hears her voice, but the words are indistinct.
Vairar, towering above him. Speaking a language he doesn't know.

Where's the threat?

Shalendra! He slides his legs out from under the orc's body and skitters across the floor to Shalendra's corpse. Body. He's not sure if she remains a threat. She is beside Orb 5, lying in pieces. He does not know if he wants her to be still alive.

Bound as he was, Sir Darfin could not even turn his head to respond to Escella. He said, facing the east wall, "That damned wizard got me with Bilarro's Bands, and his orcs beat me into a daze. They would have killed me, if Shalendra had not stopped them. Still, it must have been her who let them use the gates. It could only have been her. I don't know how they got to her, but I mean to find out. Please see that she is alive, or we may never know."

Tommi crawled over to her, and he found her breathing. Angis had knocked the wind out of her, and had knocked her down, but she would live. Her face had lost the shadows on one side and the burning eye on the other (though it was barely open). She looked peaceful - very different from the fierceness that he'd seen when she had tried to murder him with her sword, not moments ago.

She had never been kind. "Severe" would best describe her demeanor whenever he'd interacted with her before. But she had treated him fairly. He had never thought that she would try to kill him, or betray her brother. Not until that shadow-and-fire thing. The same thing that had turned Titus against them.

Escella Bok
AC 14; HP 1/33; HD 1/1d8 2/5d6 PP18 SS 2/4 1/3 1/2 SP 5/5; STR: 6/8

"I assume we do not know the activation word for the bands," Escella says. "I will see what I can do."

OOC: Escella is +3 to arcana and +5 on thieves tools. What should she roll to try to open the Bands of Bilarro? Or does she know it will take raw strength to break them or an identify spell to learn pass phrases?

Vairar focuses on the fallen and Angis feels the fresh breeze straight from the mountain tops caress his carcass corpse corpulence coarse beard (!!) as some of his wounds close.

With the last of the spells power, he brings his lord into more stable state while others try to free him.

OOC: two more rounds of Aura of Healing, one goes to Angis, the other to Darfin (I don't think anyone else is donw?)

Healing aura: 2D6 = [3, 4] = 7
2D6 = [4, 3] = 7
