Legend
Lunn and Helgrim reached the other side and the dwarf slung the rope over the old post and pulled it taut. Vairar began to work his way across (with a little trouble). As Lunn moved up the road, thinking to engage with the now-riderless hyena-worg, the other rider was also charging down the road.

Suddenly, this gnoll leaped off his mount, rolled along the ground, and stood up laughing and chanting. Strange runes glowed from scars carved into his body, and his form twisted and grew. A second set of arms burst from his torso, and now, standing ten feet tall, this four-armed monstrosity went down on all-six limbs and sped past the hyena-worgs, slamming into Lunn.

His former mount moved off to the side of the road and began to sniff around, searching for Tommi.

OOC: No damage, but Lunn needs to roll a dc13 Strength save or be knocked prone. Worg hasn't found Tommi yet.

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
The rage of the orc is such that the beast slams into the greater monster coming toward it and all it accomplished was that both of them stopped and the gnoll-hyena is now in the reach of Lunn's battleaxe.

The axe comes down in a powerful chop, cutting into the unnatural thing.
"Rhhaaarrr!"
The barbarian roars into the face of the enemy before slashing on a backswing and resetting his stance.

Legend
Lunn and the now-big mutant Gnoll clashed, with the half-orc keeping his feet and getting a solid chop with his axe. The four-armed gnoll clawed, slobbered, and chomped at him.

OOC: Lunn does 10 to Gnoll1 who does 21 to him (& another 25 if Lunn's shield isn't donned); Edit Note: Lunn actually takes 10, because of Rage and Shield and the Gnoll takes another 4 from Lunn's Rage. Switched who's got the upper hand!

the magical equivalent to the number zero
"Flankin' positions, lad!" Helgrim orders the half-orc as he, himself, moves alongside the monstrous gnoll assaulting Lunn.

Brandishing his trusted axe, the old dwarf hacks at the creature's flanks, wearing it down slowly.

"A li'l help here," he yells as from the corner of his eyes he sees the hyena-worg approach him from the other side.

OOC: Move alongside Gnoll1 so Lunn can flank on his turn. Then Attack (with Extra Attack) with battleaxe:
1D20+7 = [7]+7 = 14 (hit) for 1D8+6 = [7]+6 = 13 damage
1D20+7 = [15]+7 = 22 (hit) for 1D8+6 = [4]+6 = 10 damage

You didn't specify if I used up my Action Surge last round. Did I?
