[OOC: Fitz, is there time for Drui to cast Bless on Dandin and Enseth before the attack? In other words, can Drui calculate the optimal time to cast without getting caught and still be able to profit from that sweet minute of advantage? Also, sheet updated. Please let me know if it's all according to the rules! :)]

EDIT: never mind the bless question, hehehe! Thanks, Fradak! Sure you don't want me to take that one? If you got it, Drui stays at the ready.

Yeah, gargoyleking! . Sorry about that, lol. But please, guys, feel free to command me as you see fit. I can think npcs, but I can't consider group play for the life of me. If it helps, after we begin I can still burn a bless on the others. :)

Tommi, hiding among some bushes, feels safe. He blows into his hand which contain three small rocks, smooth river-stones of basalt that do not match the granite cliffs he's pressed against. He loads oneinto his sling.

OOC: Magic stone, ready to attack as soon as there is a target engaged with an ally in melee. Until then, he'll stay hidden.

Location: Old Dwarf Road Switchback Encounter: Orcs

As the halfling merchant ran before them in terror, the orcs laughed and gave chase. "Bring me his head!" M'Ghagh told the orc who had ran the fastest. A few of the orcs stopped to check out the wagon. One grabbed the tarp in the back and pulled it off. He stared uncomprehendingly at the large metal thing inside. Was it some sort of armour?

Further down the trail, Angis fired his crossbow as the orc who was chasing Dandin came into view. Just at the last second, the orc spotted the dwarf behind a rock, and ducked as the quarrel went over his shoulder.

Begin Round One

OOC: Okay, close enough. If you didn't do anything in round zero and you wanted to, feel free to throw it in with your round one action. Otherwise we'll get started. The orcs will still be somewhat in disarray (call it partial "surprise") and probably won't all get to act (and might not attack even if they do) this round.

Dropping his crossbow, Angis draws one of his axes. He charges at the nearest orc even as he casts a spell, painting him with a mystical target. But the dwarf stumbled over a rock in the road, sending his strike awry.

The trap sprung, Dandin turned with a grin to face his pursuers. "For Daggerford!" The cry meant as a signal to attack, Dandin gave it his full throated roar, which was actually a bit too high pitched and sounded almost a squeak instead.

His grin faded though as Angus stumbled and missed his swing. Feeling the need to help his ally, Dandin drew his rapier and stepped up to face the or with him. As he approached he reached out to touch the dwarf momentarily. "Don't worry, we'll sort these brutes but quick!"

OOC: Moving next to Angus and casting Heroism. Immune to (frightened) and gain 3 temporary HP at the start of target's turn. (With the unusual Initiative system can we just apply that every round regardless of who acts first?

Titus fired his crossbow at the charging Orcs, then ran in, sword drawn, trying to bring him down. Morwin flew down, distracting the Orcs to give Titus some help with both attacks.
