Meanwhile the gand is prodding the rain-slicked runes with gloved hands, trying to see if the symbols can be interacted with, made to change and respond. (His first try is actually touching the rune for 'the veil', in case the ancient Kwa were particularly litteral in their meaning.)

grumble clack, whirr mumble slur clack "There is always GE3-T3's burden."

OOC: Do the existing runes/door outline respond to touch and/or are there others sectors of the wall that do?

Kacela gets to her feet woozily, trying to think back on what she'd done, and where the door had rejected her. If she could glean what the door 'wanted,' perhaps she could try again...

Intelligence (Supernatural) [roll0]

Kacela remembers reading of some various Force Tradition that are similar to a 'test' to gauge one's strength in the Force. If whatever is connected to the door is similar, her light touch might have been seen as a weak user and thus not worthy of entrance (you need to get higher then a 14 on your Charisma (User the Force) test but otherwise you were correct on how the door opens).

The twi'lek again went to the glowing runes on the door and looked at the others briefly.

"I think I get this now. Just a moment."

Closing her eyes, Kacela stilled her mind and felt the Force once again.

(Will use a Force Point to augment the UtF roll this time)

[roll0] plus [roll1]

Where before she had reached timorously and cautiously, now she gathered what power she could muster from deep within and pulled at it from as far as she could sense. It was satisfying on some level, as Kacela realized that the energy she found she could grasp was greater than before. Her trials on this world were strengthening her.

Now she had only to survive them.

This time, when Kacela reaches out with the Force she feels a pleasant brush against her mind and everyone hears a loud rumbling. Suddenly the mountain wall splits open, so impossibly perfectly seemed that one would almost never find it without advanced sensors.

The door was fairly large, around four meters high and wide and lead into a long darkened hallway. As the doors open to their zenith, runic-like written starts to glow within the hallway. Thirteen cannot make out everything that was written but he does say that much of it appears to be ancient star charts and coordinates.

Entering into the hall the doors start to rumble close, sealing the hall off from the outside storm. Silence descended onto the party as penetrates deeper into the mountain. After walking for around a kilometer the team comes into a large darkened chamber. There is no light within the chamber, expect provided by the team's glowrods or lightsabers...

GM: Everyone needs to make a Wisdom (Perception) roll along with an Intelligence (Investigation) roll please...
Those with Force Sensitive can also make a basic Charisma (Use the Force) skill check

Cal raised an eyebrow when Kacela managed to open the door with little more than the Force. Nice trick... he thought as he waited for the rest of the team to enter the doorway while he covered their backs outside. Satisfied they hadn't been followed, the human entered the room and looked around in the darkness.

OOC: With the limited light, not sure if these should be at disadvantage or not...

Wisdom (Perception) = Higer of [roll0] or [roll1]
Intelligence (Investigation) = [roll2]

Jihahna stepped through the ancient doorway, gradually spinning about as she followed the others through, looking up to the different star charts. Her breathing softened by the awe she felt. All those systems... How many were now unknown? How long ago was it they were drawn up by this ancient race. She shook her head momentarily as she tapped this Gand on the shoulder, making sure he hadn't missed copying the information as they stepped forward.

As they moved deeper in, the sheer scale of this... Fortress made Jihahna feel less and less significant...

What was it they were trying to stop from happening? What was it that long ago, defeated an ancient alien species that was powerful enough to build such a grand structure? How could just a few soldiers and a couple of jedi stop something that defeated such a powerful race?

These questions began to be drowned out by something else in her mind though... Something... Hazy, that washed over her body, raising the hairs on the back of her neck. The force was strong here, that much she knew. Strong enough that though she was still looking out for danger, her mind was still very distracted and she really was no longer paying a lot of attention to detail.

OOC:

Jihahna Perception

Intelligence (Inv)

jumble drone warble jumble clack "Limited memory, Jihahna Darut," she warily 'whispers' back, actively watching ahead and to the sides. guttural whirr clicketty "But this one will try."

OOC: The gand will go with flat images instead of holos and target the most interresting bits of the star-chart ceiling-band as they advanced in the corridor, please.
