GM: Reks Perception 20, Investigation 15, Use the Force 14

As the team moves into the large chamber, Reks and this Gand can just barely make out the sound of water running somewhere in the distance and they can feel moister in the air. They also notice that there appears to be a hallway to the left side of the chamber, maybe fifty meters away. They and Cal can make out some sort of platform or structure in the center of the chamber but its too dark and to far away to really make out what it is.

Reks and Jihahna both feel a cold shadow over the room and can sense that the dark side of the Force is strong here. Kacela also felt that but can also sense that it seems to be coming from below the floor... it also seems to be... she is not sure how she would describe it except maybe that it is growing or awakening.

As the team is about to move into the chamber, this Gand notices a pattern of some form on the floor... something like a geometric shape mixed in with something like the star charts that she saw in the hallway. She gets the feeling that this pattern might be important... when she mention it Reks can also see and the pair come to a snap conclusion that one is suppose to step in a certain order for some reason...

The little alien holds up a hand - careful, danger - then proceeds on alone, as the most expendable of the bunch -- his movements are tentative, his attention split between mosaic details below muddy, armored feet and intense examination of captured images on the screen of her datapad.


OOC: Can she reproduce the sequence displayed by the ceiling band, GK? Failing that, what are the option available?

Cal kept his weapon aimed in the general direction of the platform. "Could be a trap? Or could be a way to access deeper into this area. Maybe we should check out that corridor before attempting to solve this puzzle?"

GM: This Gand does indeed seem to notice that the patterns on the floor are similar to the patterns and star charts of the hallway they passed through. You need an Intelligence (Investigation) or a Wisdom (Insight) check to figure it out. As everyone is helping you can have advantage or you could all roll separately, up to you.

Kacela is just starting to venture forward, her attention focused on the floor, but staring past it...when the gand warns her to stop.

She looks up, a little startled, and says, "There's a presence here...something dark and vast under the floor here. And it's waking up."

Reks draws his lightsabers, and stands at the ready, then says "I feel something...dark. We should all tread carefully here."
