Not voting in any more public polls. I am a compulsive poll-voter, so this is like giving up sex for me. For some paranoid reason I think some fanatics out there are making lists, taking names. I just finished deleting a terrifying rant from the grognard poll that would have earned me a three-day, but long story short: I'm sick of labels. I'm sick of people trying to split the thus-labeled off from the herd (not so much here, but elsewhere). I have never more appreciated my choice to use a different username at every message board I frequent.

Anyone using the terms "grognard", "fatbeard", "3tard", "4on", etc etc etc may as well be saying "n****r" in my book. I'm done with slurs and the people that use them.

Well said. I'm not voting either since I probably might at different times have any one of those labels and more, but also don't like how those various labels are often used divisively. There should be a name for people like us who . . .

Of the choices provided, I'm a geek. If D&D player were on the list I'd pick that (as I consider Pathfinder to be a kind of D&D). I don't play enough different games to be a gamer.
