Well, since he claimed that the people who gave them to them were the ones who "created it", then he's the first link in the chain to the guy(s) scanning the books.

Maybe the FBI will be interested.

In all serious though, for some reason I think this guy would appreciate a visit by a large, mostly bald man wearing steel toed boots better than he'd appreciate a court summons.

that is not true. He could have an unlisted number. I am an adult but my home number is under someone elses name so a search for me turned up nada.

I have a hundred better things to do, but yet I still went and emailed the guy.

He just responded with this:

"I am currently working with those publishers who have contacted me with respect to protect their work, However some hostile people who are less understanding of my story are I belive attacking my computer and are making it dificult to eve respond to emails. I was unaware of a lot before posting these things."

Well, he was so kind to close the D&D auction (that was only at about $10), but the Star Wars one was nearing $50 and now reads:
"The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price."
I guess he was unaware of a lot and wants to protect the publishers' work... unless of course someone is offering him $50.

Not Definately a minor. But I would be willing to bet that a call to those numbers would turn up a Minor Michael....

Yahoo Auctions has a "Report Abuse or Terms of Service Violations" link with each auction. Even so nice as to keep a ticker of how many have reported it.
