Thats where I saw that shape. Exactly right, there a lot of traditional non-guitar stringed instruments that would take a lifetime to masterYeah, it would have been hard to deal with.
But TBF, I’ve seen Eastern European bands using acoustic and electric balalaikas that were absolutely huge. As in, measuring a few feet on a side.
