Ignoring my contempt for the accuracy of the RotG articles (mind you, I like their style and what they try to achieve) for the moment. I find it difficult to reconcile this approach with the "continuous round" approach to combat. My take on it (and I could well be wrong) is that your actions (full round/standard/move/free etc) describe what you are doing for the 6 seconds of your turn, which is simultaneous with everyone else (even though turn based). I don't see how you can be fighting with both weapons against an opponent (taking appropriate penalties) and not be subject to the penalties when an AOO presents.mvincent said:In particular, this quote from the RotG seemed to resolve the "when fighting this way" debate for me:
