Flint knows that he cannot add much in talking to the fugutive, so instead he keeps quiet, keeping an eye on their surroundings.

Could be a trap. All eyes on the man, so attention away from the quietly approaching scouts.

Flint keeps his axe close as tiny unseeing magical eyes appear around his head for a few fleeting moments.

Edran recoils, “I had nothing to do with the attack and that is the truth. You are right, I lied from where I came from. I am just a traveler and my name is Edran, but I came from Molthune. I know that I wouldn’t be welcomed if people knew I came from Molthune, and I just want to make it out of here alive.”

“I don’t know much about the tower, just that someone I hadn’t seen before in a dark travelers cloak, he knelt down and maybe put something on the ground. A moment later the tower was there. A massive black stone tower, and then the monsters poured out.”

GM: Anyone with any current events background in the Inner Sea region would know that Nirmathas, (the country you are in now) has been at war with Molthune for some time. People who live in this region would know that the forces of Molthune currently has the Dwarven stronghold in the area under seige.

Harb Half-Elf Paladin

The second the man mentions that he is from Molthune Harbs hand inadvertently moves closer to his sword. As soon as he notices it he stops himself.

"Molthune huh, citizen? That is a dangerous trip for an event such as that festival isn't it?

OOC: Harb doesn't like this guy already. I'll do an insight check now to judge his reactions. For a while, as long as he is around I'm going to try to keep an eye on him (Passive perception) Given Harbs past, this guy is suspect one way or another. Insight: [roll0]

Edran nods to Harb, “You are right it is a risky trip, a trip that I obviously wish I hadn’t made now. I just wanted to learn more about the people here and their customs. All we ever hear in Molthune is how you are our enemy, I wanted to see the people for how they really are. And of course sell some goods.”

GM: For Harb, nothing that Edran says seems to be a lie, it all seems truthful but something does seem a little off. For everyone else, he seems legit.
