D&D 5E Ironfang Invasion (IC)

Lal nods

"it's well known some herbs are most beneficial against illness. I have some equipment with me actually that could help... I'm not much of an herbalist but if we worked together... We should be able to get there and back before those scouts get too close yes?"

Lal proceeded to ask more details about the herb - shape of the leaves, smell, near what tree it grew - etc, showing that he did indeed knew a thing or two. "We don't want to do the trip for nothing" he added with a smile.

Harb Half-Elf Paladin

Just finishing his prayers as Aubrin approaches Harb listens intently. Trying to think back to his training at the church to recall the herb they are looking for.

He nods in agreement with the group about going to get the supplies needed.

"Flint, Is there any way that we can make more of that 'stump remover'?"

OOC: Would Harbs Medicine training help at all in identifying this herb or other medicinal herbs?

The hour or so journey to the tall pine tree goes uneventful as the only sounds of birds and small animals can be heard. As the adventures make their way through the clearing towards the large pine a single man rushes into the clearing and nearly runs into Vin, before stopping suddenly.

The man’s eyes are wide with fear, his clothes unkempt his hair flying in multiple directions and several scratches can be seen on his face and hands. He looks at the group for a split second before he begins to turn. It appears that he will attempt to flee.

GM:
If for any reason a character had decided to stay back in the make to village just put that in a post, otherwise I will assume everyone is here.

Week 1, Day Two

Sister Grace has been spending her time blessing (guidance) various people trying to setup and supply the camp. She is intrigued by the herb, as her healing tools are usually less earthy in nature, so she will gladly go on the mission to retrieve it.

The man stops at Vin’s voice and he starts crying, “They slaughtered the whole town, I mean almost everyone was dead. They are inhuman. I was just in town for the festival and they showed up out of nowhere.”

GM:
Loosh sees the trees and bushes settling back to their natural state, it appears that nothing was immediately following the traveler.

W1 D2

"have you had any to eat recently?" Vin asks the man looking him up and down. "You look like you have had it rough for a bit." He takes some food out sharing his day's provisions with the man.

"I am Vin by the way and my friends and I have gone through a similar experience lately. What town are you from?"
